Chris Yadon is the Managing Director of Saprea. Since joining Saprea in 2015, Chris has brought a valuable skillset to the organization and has committed to addressing the epidemic of child sexual abuse. His expertise centers on increasing awareness of the epidemic of child sexual abuse and educating the public on best practices for prevention and the healing services available to survivors. Chris and I talk about his role and why he wanted it with Saprea. We talk about the importance of the small talks we can have with our children to help create a safe space. And how this conversation can make a huge change for our communities. Saprea Overview Saprea is a nonprofit that exists to liberate individuals and society from child sexual abuse and its lasting impacts. Created in 2014, Saprea is a public charity funded by a combination of public and private donations. We empower healing for individuals who were sexually abused as children or adolescents through retreats, support groups, and online resources. We educate and engage parents and caregivers to protect children from sexual abuse through community and online resources. We drive awareness to motivate individuals to take action against child sexual abuse. All Saprea in-person and online resources are free thanks to the generosity of donors. All donations —100 percent— go directly toward helping survivors heal and helping parents and caregivers reduce the risk of child sexual abuse. saprea.org Instagram @saprea_org Facebook @Saprea
